On-Line Learning Continues with David Brooks
Following the success of our interactive videoconference calls leading up to the chagim — "36 Minutes LIVE: The Elul Series"— we are launching a new series of monthly calls, examining facets of leadership, introducing new Jewish learning, exploring burning issues we face as leaders and Jews. Our first session features Dr. Erica Brown and will be monitored by Cindy Chazan, Vice President.

“Leadership in Crisis: Abuse of Power and Authority in the Jewish Community”
In light of the recent charges against Rabbi Freundel in Washington DC, and knowing none of our communities are immune from going through comparable ordeals, Dr. Erica Brown will share thoughts and take questions on how, as leaders, we might respond to deeply challenging/troubling events whenever they occur inside the Jewish community
Join Wexner Members, Fellows, and Alumni to meet, learn, discuss and refresh your leadership toolbox. Participation is limited to the Wexner Network and will be capped at 100. Tech and RSVP Information
We will be using a new technology called Zoom, which is similar to Skype and Google Hangout. Zoom requires no downloading, allows for up to 100 people to participate, and is free to use. You will need to be at a computer, ipad, or smartphone with internet, camera, mic, and speakers to participate fully. If you don’t have a camera or mic at your computer, you can still “zoom in” – as long as you have internet and speakers you will be able to listen in, just like a conference call. You can also dial-in from a phone as well, and will be in “listen only" mode.
The Wexner Foundation has engaged other all-star faculty to present future on-line learning opportunities. Faculty members who will lead future calls include David Brooks, Matti Friedman, Professor Alisa Solomon and Professor Alon Tal, with additional information available soon.
