The Wexner Foundation is piloting a way for our alumni, members and fellows to meet, learn, discuss and refresh their leadership toolbox. “36 Minutes LIVE: The Elul Series”, which consists of six stand-alone videoconferences during the month of Elul, already has RSVPs approaching 100 people per session. Last week, Member of Knesset Ruth Calderon challenged participants to go beyond “rote forgiveness” through an exploration of a Talmudic story about Rav Abba and a butcher.

Today, Thursday, September 4th, Raba Tamar Elad-Appelbaum will unpack excerpts from AD Gordon and some contemporary Israeli poets in her session entitled “The Charge to Be New Creations/Creators” convening at 12:30 pm PDT – 3:30 pm EDT – 10:30pm Israel time. Please email estiel@wexner.net if you’d like “dial-in” instructions and the source sheet. Sessions consist of 18 minutes of teaching and 18 minutes of Q and A.
