The Wexner Foundation celebrated the 30th Anniversary with two days of leading and learning in Columbus, Ohio from April 26 – 27, 2015. The closing session featured The Wexner Foundation President Rabbi Elka Abrahamson and the Founder of The Wexner Foundation Leslie H. Wexner.

At The Wexner Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Gala, special guest former Prime Minister of Israel Shimon Peres engaged in an insightful conversation with David Gergen, the co-director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School.

This session, Taking Our Bones With Us: The Role of the Past in Mapping the Jewish Future, was led by WGF/DS Alum Rabbi Rachel Nussbaum (Class 11), Rabbi and Executive Director of the Kavana Cooperative.

This session, Leadership & Language: Take Shabbat, for Instance, was led by Rabbi Lawrence A. Hoffman, Professor of Liturgy at Hebrew Union College in New York.

At The Wexner Foundation’s 30th Anniversary there were 11 Leading Towards Change: The Art of Possible in Our Communities Sessions that were recorded so the learning can continue. This session, Tapping Social Innovation to Energize Jewish Organizations, was led by Jonathan Greenblatt, incoming Executive Director of the Anti-Defamation League.

At The Wexner Foundation’s 30th Anniversary there were 11 Leading Towards Change: The Art of Possible in Our Communities Sessions that were recorded so the learning can continue. This session, Re-Envisioning Jewish Life: A Start-Up Approach, was led by Rabbi Elie Kaunfer, co-founder and executive director of Mechon Hadar.

At The Wexner Foundation’s 30th Anniversary there were 11 Leading Towards Kedusha: Torah Sessions that were recorded so the learning can continue. This session, The Righteous Jewish Mind: Why Jewish Leaders Disagree, was led by Rabbi Shoshana Boyd Gelfand, is the Director of JHub.

At The Wexner Foundation’s 30th Anniversary there were 11 Leading Towards Kedusha: Torah Sessions that were recorded so the learning can continue. This session, Above and Beyond: Taking the Law into our Own Hands, was led by Rabbi Ethan Tucker, co-founder and rosh yeshiva at Mechon Hadar and chair in Jewish Law.

At The Wexner Foundation’s 30th Anniversary there were 11 Leading Towards Kedusha: Torah Sessions that were recorded so the learning can continue. This session, Above and Beyond: Taking the Law into our Own Hands, was led by Arna Poupko Fisher, an internationally noted lecturer, educator and author, currently teaching at the University of Cincinnati.

At The Wexner Foundation’s 30th Anniversary there were 11 Leading Towards Change: The Art of Possible in Our Communities Sessions that were recorded so the learning can continue. This session, Can a Leader evolve? What Moses’ Career Can Teach Us About Our Own, was led by Michael A. Kay, PhD, the Head of School at Solomon Schechter School of Westchester.
