As with all our shared communication, please remember we have a “No Solicitations” policy.

The information you enter into your profile is available only to other Wexner Foundation members, fellows and alumni and is password protected.

  1. The Wexner Foundation (“We”, “the Foundation”) recognizes that the data privacy of Website visitors, members of our alumni community and all other participants in Foundation activities is very important, and we take it seriously.
  2. This statement sets out the privacy practices and policy of the Foundation on this website, www.wexnerfoundation.org (“the Website).
  3. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices, including the choices you can make about the way your personal data is collected and used by this Website and the Foundation.
  4. By using this Website or activities made available through the Website (“Services”), you agree to this privacy policy (the “Policy”). If you do not agree to be bound by this Policy, you should exit and cease use of the Website.

  2. “Personal data” includes any information that specifically identifies you, including your name, email address, professional qualifications, profile picture, home address and telephone numbers; and other information regarding family members and others that you voluntarily supply in your alumnus/alumna bio; and other documentation that may be supplied by you via the Website.
  3. Your name and some of the information you provided about yourself will be available for public viewing on the Website as part of your public profile.

User Name and Password: Keep Them Confidential

  1. The user name and password are used to make sure that only you have access to any of the personal data you have provided. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any password you use to sign in to the Foundation Website, and you not share it with others either online or offline.

Our Use of Personal Data on the Website, including Cookies

  1. We collect certain information such as your IP address when you access the Website. The Website may also collect information about you as you use cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored in your hard drive containing information about you that identifies you to the Website. Cookies enable us to track and target your interest to enhance your experience on the Website.
  2. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally-identifiable information you submit while on our Website. If you do not wish to have a cookie placed on your hard drive, you may still use the site, however your use of the Website may be limited in certain ways.
  3. In addition, when you view information about other Website users (such as Wexner Foundation employees and alumni), certain information about your viewing activities is collected and stored by the Foundation automatically.

  1. The Website contains links to other websites. the Foundation is not responsible for and has no liability for privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. We advise you to read the privacy policy stated on other websites you link to through the Website. Our privacy policy only governs personal data that we collect on the Website.

  1. The Foundation takes appropriate precautions to protect the personal data that you provide in accordance with best practices. Foundation employees are kept up to date on relevant information security and privacy practices.
  2. You should note, that the internet (including use of the Website) is not 100% secure; and therefore, the Foundation cannot fully guarantee the security of personal data used on the site. In spite of our best efforts, unauthorized and/or illicit entry or use, hardware or software failure and other factors may compromise Website security at any time.

  1. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If the Foundation at any point decides to use your personal data in a manner substantially different from that stated at the time your consent was collected, we will notify you by posting the change via the Website.

  3. You may initiate changes in your personal details at any time in the bio section of the Wexner alumni interface (“Wexchange”) and we will retain only the updated information there.
  4. If you wish to request access to your personal data on the Website, or to delete it completely, please contact us at  privacy@wexner.net. Please note that following implementation of a deletion request, we may retain and use your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
